Gerizim takes care of Special children, Normal parent less children and Children-in-Crisis in an integrated setup. It is encouraging to see them mingle healthily/friendly helping one another.

One of our wish wishers initiated a special effort providing going to shops, buying useful things, handling small money preparing for their future independent living. They were participating with other
children from the neighborhood.

Joyous to notice smiles on their faces & enjoy the free evening at the shops escorted by our staff. They learn to know the value of money, checking & receiving the balance money after the purchase.

The well-wisher enabled the children to fill their small bags with things of their choice & returned home happily. It was a new experience for them to learn from the world outside.

It was heartening to see the normal children shared the eatables they bought from the shops with the other Special children in our home – A healthy/Friendly interaction.

As a result, the normal children learnt the value/worth of money & know how to handle small amounts of money. This gives us a sense of satisfaction.

The voluntary support/involvement of well wishers means much for the development of our children. A profitable dividend awaits in
due time for them as a result.
